Ashling Lindsay
Ashling Lindsay is an Irish artist and writer from Belfast. Her picturebooks are published in more than 10 languages and have been nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal, shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, The Klaus Flugge Prize and in 2020 won the KPMG Children’s Books Ireland Honour Award for Illustration. She has an MA in Design and a BA in Visual Communication, both from Belfast School of Art. Recent projects include an illustrated biography for Alan Turing, for the critically acclaimed and internationally bestselling series Little People, BIG DREAMS and an ACES award from the Arts Council NI to develop new work. Ashling is represented by The Bright Agency for children’s illustration and is a member of the illustrators guild of Ireland.
